Frequently Asked Questions

Everything people ask us before they buy. If your question isn't here, email info@luauna.com and we'll answer it ourselves.

Are these creams right for my skin? Because we offer five different formulas, there is an option for every skin type—whether normal, dry, or combination. From our soothing Aloe Vera Face Cream to our revitalizing Royal Jelly, they are all designed as cushioned creams rather than heavy balms. They provide real moisture without a greasy finish. If your skin feels tight by the afternoon, or if what you're using now sits on top rather than absorbing, our creams are formulated to help.

I'm allergic to bees. Can I use them? Four of our creams (Aloe Vera, Santorini Grape, Pure Olive, and 24hr Hydrating) are completely vegan. However, our Royal Jelly Face Cream contains royal jelly, which is a bee product. If you have a known allergy to bees or bee products, please do not use the Royal Jelly cream. We'd rather lose the order than the trust.

Do I need to patch test? Yes, before first use. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If any redness, irritation or swelling appears, don't use the product. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs at any point, and consult a physician.

Can I use them if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding? Ask your doctor first. We're not in a position to advise on individual medical circumstances, and a qualified professional who knows your history is.

Morning, night, or both? Most of our creams can be used both morning and night. (Our Pure Olive Day Cream is specially formulated for your morning routine). Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin. Warm it between your fingertips and press gently into the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.

Do I still need sunscreen? Yes. These are moisturisers, not sunscreens — they contain no SPF. Use a separate broad-spectrum SPF in the morning, applied after your Luauna cream has absorbed.

Are they fragranced? Yes. Our formulas contain Parfum alongside natural aromatic components and essential oil extracts (such as chamomile, rosemary, and ylang-ylang). If you are sensitive to fragrances or essential oils, that is worth knowing before you buy.

How long does one jar last? A jar used twice daily typically lasts around eight to twelve weeks, depending on how much you apply. Once opened, use it within nine months.

What's actually in them? We have five distinct formulas, all built on a deeply hydrating base of Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, and ozonized oils (like Olive, Castor, and Argan).

  • Royal Jelly: Enriched with royal jelly, bakuchiol, and Centella Asiatica.

  • Aloe Vera: Packed with soothing chamomile, witch hazel, and sweet almond oil.

  • Santorini Grape: Powered by antioxidant-rich grape extract, resveratrol, and volcanic soil extract.

  • Pure Olive Day Cream: Deeply nourishing with olive oil, avocado oil, and algae extract.

  • 24hr Hydrating: Focused on lasting moisture with beta-glucan, squalene, and lavender. The complete INCI list is printed on every jar and shown on each individual product page.

Where are they made? Spain. Our collection is manufactured in a highly certified facility in Spain using natural and bio-certified ingredients.

Are they tested on animals? No.

How long until I see something? Comfort and finish are immediate — skin feels cushioned from the first application, and you can judge that yourself in about four seconds. Anything to do with the appearance of tone or texture is a matter of consistent use over weeks, not days. We don't publish percentages we can't stand behind, so we won't give you a number until we have our own panel results.

What if it doesn't work for me? Tell us. Email us at info@luauna.com and a person will answer — often the same day. If the jar arrived damaged or it is not what you ordered, send a photograph and we will replace it without asking you to ship anything back. If it simply is not the cream for you, we cannot take an opened jar back, for hygiene reasons — so the honest advice is to read the product descriptions and patch test before you commit. We would rather talk you out of it beforehand than disappoint you after.
